Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
So it's not long before we enter 2016 and I hope you're all enjoying your newness whether it's presents from Christmas or buys from the sales. I'm sharing with you my new favourite things from Christmas. I loved all of my presents even the 6 thousand pairs of cosy socks I got (I'm obsessed) but I thought I'd just show you the things you're probably most interested in, because who wants to read about socks anyway?

Everything I've been buying in the sales up to and after boxing day I've featured in my 'boxing day haul' and my 'huge collective haul' so if you fancy a peak at some bargain finds and outfits then that's all up already :)

Yep, it's unusual for me to uploading to my blog on a Saturday but as you all know it's boxing day which is like a shopaholics dream shopping day right?

I kind of cheated this year, I haven't actually been shopping on boxing day (hence the reason I'm uploading this early) but so many of the sales started early it was like black friday all over again. It's been ages since I last did a payday haul, in fact this was my only one and I was supposed to be doing them every month!
So I realised after writing this one what a crazy shopper I am! I splashed out on a matching underwear set (this never happens), I ordered from a brand I've never ordered from before, found the perfect jeans, got cosy with some autum/winter staples and most importantly got some major discounts!

I think the only reason I like winter is the hunt for the perfect winter coat. Well, it's almost the end of September and I've found it, thank god I couldn't cope anymore in these arctic conditions! (a bit dramatic I know). If you're still on the hunt for your perfect coat then look no further I've made my list for the top 10 winter coats this season.

I ended up getting this super cosy (yep furry on the whole of the inside!!) jacket from Debenhams. It was £59 which I'd say is middle priced when looking at the coats I've found on my list.

My dilemma lately has been putting outfits together, even the most simple ones. I realised it's because I don't have them items that 'go with anything'. I hate risking my outfits being plain so I tend to go for bold prints or items that may only go with one of my tops.

I think if you buy too many items that 'go with anything' your wardrobe becomes dull, that's why I've kept kept it short with just 5 items you need which will form the bases of your outfits.

1. White Tops / Camis

I've found it difficult not to find see through ones, but I have managed to find simple white tops for casual or dressed up outfits. If you think about it, not many people wear white or cream coloured jackets so a white top is perfect to stop your outfit from being dull. I know I have black/grey jackets which I barely wear because my outfit is already too black.

Fashion: My Boyfriend Shops For Me

Anyone else's boyfriend clueless when it comes to fashion? I put my boyfriend to the test for this post and told him to shop for me with my money and no help... He actually did well! Which is surprising because a few month ago I asked for a pair of pink frilly socks and he got me some mint green ones that I already had... I was expecting to get a rainbow coloured outfit that was too small or too big but it turned out pretty good!
