5 Home Decor Ideas For Spring

I'm feeling very spring inspired so be prepared for plenty of spring themed posts coming your way this month. It's not just my clothes that are getting a refresh, it's my bedroom too. If you haven't yet seen it, I did a New Look Homeware Haul on my YouTube channel (and everything is under £10!).
So here's 5 simple ideas to get your home ready for spring.
The season where pastels become a must. Spring is the perfect excuse to add a bit of colour to your room whether that's with paint or the decor, pastel or luminous. Earlier this year I transformed my bedroom into a blank white canvas which makes it totally acceptable to decorate each season. Out with the monochrome and in with the pastels.
2. Keep it fresh with flowers, real or fake
I recently started to love having a bunch of flowers in my room, it makes the room fresh and colourful (not to mention they're great for flat lays) but they can be pretty pricey to say they could potentially die after 3 days. Of course you can opt for some fake flowers, no maintenance and they only need to be bought once!
The most simple idea is obviously to get yourself some decor for the new season. You don't even have to spend loads either, my favourite places to find decor are some of the cheapest: New Look, Primark, B&M and The Range. Make sure your subscribed to my YouTube channel so that you can catch any of my home ware hauls.
4. Go green
I think almost everyone who loves social media loves artificial plants! I got my white one from Ikea and it was so cheap; the pot came separately so it's great for customisation. There are so many different types you could get whether it's a huge plant or a tiny one for your desk, a leafy one or a cactus. A bit of greenery can really brighten up your room for spring.

Do some DIY for spring and get your room looking how you want it to be. There's nothing better for making your decor original than making it yourself. There are so many DIY ideas on Pinterest, I personally love floral wreaths, spring jars and quirky vases.
