5 Recipes For Leftover Easter Eggs

12:33

5 ways you can turn your Easter eggs into delicious desserts, because what's the fun in eating a boring chocolate egg?

1. Rocky Road
After watching Zoella's Easter baking video I felt totally inspired to get baking something, I took inspiration and made a rocky road and it was AMAZING, if I do say so myself... If you've got quite a few eggs left then this is the recipe to try! It tastes a lot better than it looks, trust me.
2. Cereal cupcakes
I'd class this as an essential recipe, who doesn't mix their melted eggs with cornflakes to eat for breakfast? Maybe not for breakfast, but choose to refrigerate them or eat them warm they're nice either way! All you need to do is mix your melted eggs with a cereal of your choice.

3. Cheesecake Eggs
Stick with the egg but divide it in half and fill it with cheesecake! I feel like I definitely need to try this recipe out because cheesecake is so easy to make and an egg filled with it sounds amazing to me.

4. Melted Chocolate For Dipping
The simplest way to get rid of your eggs is to melt them for dipping! Why not try make a very unhealthy thing into a kinda-healthy thing by dipping strawberries or nuts into your melted chocolate even using it to drizzle over a fruit bowl. I did a post on a amazing chocolate brownie with strawberries last year if you want some more chocolatey inspiration.
5. Chocolatey Snacks
Spread some icing of your choice (or nutella, mmm) on the inside of your egg, stick any chocolate to it and then cut the egg up into pieces. It's the perfect movie snack for the chocolate lover! I didn't have any icing for the photo, oops.
Thanks for reading and hopefully this gave you some ideas on how to get rid of your left over chocolate eggs!
